Flex Edge Aluminium Edging is a complete commercial grade aluminium landscape edging system, designed for use in professional and residential landscape projects. Flex Edge Aluminium Edging provides long term durability to withstand high traffic areas, lawn and general garden maintenance.
It is quick and very easy to install. It can be used in straight applications including 90 degree corners or curves and flexible edging applications.
Made using high grade aluminium and finished with a clear anodised, rust or black finish. Flex Edge Aluminium Edging is protected from the elements such as corrosion in coastal conditions and abrasive soil types.
Standard Accessories include one straight joiner, and three pegs.
Size:
100mm high with a top thickness of 5mm.
Available in 2.9m lengths.
Lengths can be joined together with straight or corner joiners or cut to length.
Stakes & Guides:
Use a 250mm galvanised steel twist spikes and a spike guide to secure the edging in place. Three spikes per length are recommended
Applications:
Flex Edge aluminium landscape edging provides a permanent barrier where a division of landscape materials is required, above or below ground installations. Garden borders, artificial lawns, turf, paving restraint, paths and borders, asphalt driveways, walkways and paths, rooftop gardens, concrete joints, tree surrounds
Cutting:
Flex Edge edging strips are best cut using an electric drop saw with a general use wood blade or manually with a hacksaw. If multiple cuts are required a metal blade may be required to avoid blunting the timber blade.
Corner & Angles:
Where edging section meet at right angles use Hedge corner joiner accessories to provide and uninterrupted clean crisp join.
Curves:
Bend and form professional edging strips to create desired shapes and curves.
Back filling & Clean-up:
Once the edge installation is complete, back fill with mulch, rock, topsoil, or specified cover.
Maintenance:
Flex Edge edging systems require no maintenance and can easily be extended or moved if the landscape design is changed.
