Black Plastic Garden Edging
This black garden edging is made from recycled plastic. It is flexible, tough, hard-wearing and can be easily bent into tight circles and other flexible shapes. It comes in one metre lengths, includes three spikes, and is very easy to install.
Size:
80 mm high with a top thickness of 5mm.
Available in 1.0 m lengths.
Lengths are connected to together without any joins
Stakes & Guides:
Use three 250mm steel spikes per one metre length, which come as standard with each length.
Applications:
The landscape edging provides a permanent barrier where a division of landscape materials is required, above or below ground installations. Garden borders, artificial lawns, turf, paving restraint, paths and borders, asphalt driveways, walkways and paths, rooftop gardens, concrete joints, tree surrounds
Cutting:
The solid connections along the length of the edging can be cut with pliers or a cutting knife to provide the flex. If a length is too long it can be cut with a hack saw.
Corners:
Corners cannot be installed with plastic edging, only curves.
Circles
Bend and form professional edging strips to create desired shapes and curves. The edging can be bent inwards or outwards depending on the curves required. Minimum of two lengths for a circle of 650mm circumference. Note, while the black recycled plastic edging is very flexible if bent excessively the edging will snap.
Back filling & Clean-up:
Once the edge installation is complete, back fill with mulch, rock, topsoil, or specified cover.
Maintenance:
The plastic edging system requires no maintenance and can easily be extended or moved if the landscape design is changed.
